The Boy and Freaking Rattata(contains LITTLE Blood)

Midday. Blistering heat. Little water. This was not a good day for the white hair and red eyed boy. It was so cold last night, what happened? he thought, he was sweating and sitting under a tree, exhausted once more. He heaved a sigh as he looked up at the puffy white cotton in the sky, clouds. He remembered one day when he lived with The Family, he had been doing this very thing as a young child.
He was sitting under a nice a big tree, watching the clouds pass by. It was the first time he tried cloud watching. He had seen people do it on TV whenever they felt sad, so would it work for him? He remembered meeting a little girl, by the name of Anna. She wasn't the most polite of girls, but she was nice. The two had played together and became friends, they went on adventures whenever he sneaked away from the family. He never told her about the scoldings and beatings he got from sneaking out. He loved life then, he was fine with The Family's mistreatment.
One day, he learned that Anna was arranged to have a wedding despite how young she was. She was to befriend her fiance and once they grew older they were to marry. He was happy for her, but she was crushed. She had cried and cried into his shoulder, begging him to take her away from that place. So, he did. They had gotten in huge trouble.
Pain in his back brought him back to the present, the stab wound. He had been leaning too much on the tree and caused it to ache. He wished he could disinfect it, who knows where that knife Thomas had had been. He sighed as he stood up, clutching a bag he had snatched as he ran from the town. On the horizon he could see Steeli City in it's glory, tall buildings, machinery, and the ugly smoke pouring into the sky.
He stared at the sight on the horizon, the elderly lady had spoken to him about pollution, Are they like that because of Steeli City? he wondered. He continued forward, hoping to reach the city. He knew nothing of what to do, maybe he would challenge the gym when he-no Crystal, was stronger.

He didn't know what to do, he had left Feronia and was now in this strange region. He had learned of the gyms when he spotted the gym in Redwood in his little tour run. Harvey's memories began to come back to his mind once more as he walked.

Anna and he had ran that night, into the woods. It was dark, and terrifying for him. He had never been without an adult at night before. He and Anna had ran quite a way away before she finally stopped him and started crying and apologizing again and again.
"What are you sorry for?" he had asked.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry..."she kept repeating.
At that moment a wimsicott had leaped out of the tree above them and landed on top of him, "What!?" he cried before the whimsicott landed on him.

A shape in front of him in the present brought him back from the past, a cottonee. The Cottonee glared at him, he looked down to see a nest. He must have accidentally stepped on it! "Oh! I-I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, quickly stepping back a few paces and out of the bushes. The Cottonee followed him, giving chase. It was fast for a cottonee, just like that Wimscott. Memories flash in his mind as he flees

Struggling free. Running. Tripping. The Whimscott hot on his heals. A leaf hits the tree next to him, just barely missing him, he runs faster.

He's back on the path now, the Cottonee just behind him. There's enough room now, he reaches into his pocket and tosses the pokeball into the air. Crystal appears, enraged as ever. Glares at the Cottonee from Crystal infuriate it even more. It began to double inside and sent a green energy towards the lapas, who in turn was generating a icy ball in her mouth and spitting ice shards at the cottonee. The lapras's attack struck first, and the air began a bit cooler and frigid.

Yes, it was cold that night, he remembered. Harvey had ran and ran, the whimscott leaping from tree to tree behind him. It was throwing razor leafs like shurikens.

Lapras cried out in pain as her energy was drained from her by the super effective attack, but the cottonee was also dealt massive damage from the attack.

He's running, still, reaching the edge of the woods. He burst out into a horseshoe of cop cars. That surrounded the area, "There he is!" said the mother of Anna, "He kidnapped our Anna!"
"Wh-What?" Harvey said.
"Mommy!" Anna appeared from the woods behind him and rushed forward to her mother's arms. The police had led him to a police car and had driven him back to The Family with an infuriated mother.
When the police left she hissed, "Why didn't they take you to Juvenile Hall!?"

Crystal's cries had snapped him back to attention as she used another glistening ice shard on the Cottonnee, KOing it. Lapras turned to him and gave a slight hum, worried for his silence throughout the entire battle.
"I'm fine!" he smiled, he was faking his sadness at the remembrance of the betrayal. He felt like a hole was in his heart, but he had gotten used to it over time.

His Lapras smiled a bit, and nudged him. He returned her and put her in his pocket, "I know you won't betray me..." he said with a smile.
He continued onward, the sun was sinking behind him. He was soon forced to set up camp, which meant find a good place to sleep. He seated himself off to the side of the path, in a large hollow fallen tree. He hoped no pokemon nested there, other wise he would be forced into yet another battle. He sighed as he laid against the inside of the large log. It was a bit cramped, but at least he was hidden from any predator pokemon or thieves that would rob him of his lapras, again.
He dozed into a light sleep after a while, he was woken by a scrambling noise. He opened his eyes to see a rattata looking up at him curiously. He jumped in surprise and hit his head on the top of the the log, forgetting that his current residence had a ceiling. The rattata stared, curious. He looked at Harvey with interest, curious as to why there was a human in its den.
Harvey looked outside, it was still dark out. He decided to ask the rattata, "Mind if I stay here tonight?" he asked with a nervous laugh. Lucky for him, the rattata smiled back and gave a nod. It seemed to be comfortable with humans, considering the purple rat had leaped into Harvey's lap and curled up into a tight ball. It made a squeaking sound as it wrapped it's tail around itself. Harvey allowed it to lay on his lap and he laid back and was soon snoozing once more.

He awoke to a scared squealing sound, he opened his eyes to find his lap empty. He looked to the end of the log just in time to see the rattata rush back in with it's eyes as wide as dinner plates with fear. The rattata leaped into his arms and Harvey caught the rattata. He looked at the end of the log to see a rhyhorn charging towards the log's end. Harvey yelled in fear and tried to crawl out the other end of the log.
He was too late though, the rhyhorn smashed into the log and sent him and the rattata flying into the air. He clutched the rattata closely as he landed in some bushes. He got up, still holding the small and frightened rattata, and looked at the rhyhorn, who looked confused.
"Oh, is that your rattata?" a person emerged from deeper within the forest. He was a buff man, probably around the same age as Harvey. He wore shorts and a work out shirt that was wet with sweat.
"No..."Harvey replied cautiously.
"Oh...well...I was kind of battling it so could you put it down?" the man asked.
Harvey looked at the shivering rattata, who was covered in bruises and scars. It didn't look fit at all for battle. The rattata looked at him with pleading eyes and Harvey's mind clicked, "It doesn't want to battle." he spoke.
The man was stunned, "Well, that's too bad now is it? Come on, put the stupid rat down."
"He's not a stupid rat." Harvey said defensively, only then did he get an idea, "Battle me instead."
The man shrugged, "Doesn't matter as long as I get to battle! One on One! Let's go, Rhyhorn!"
The rhyhorn bellowed and charged forward onto the field. Harvey took out his pokeball and sent out Crystal, his lapras. Crystal hummed a tune and looked at the Rhyhorn, she was clearly at a bigger advantage here. She felt confident as she shot a water gun towards the rhyhorn, who was hit directly in the face with it as it charged forward.
"Now rhyhorn!" the trainer called. The rhyhorn bellowed as the clouds above darkened and lightning struck just beside the lapras, it was thunder attack, "No!" the trainer cried.
Crystal was spooked by the large flash of lightning, and began to drag herself away from the area where the lightning struck. She glared at the Rhyhorn and sent yet another blast at the charging Rhyhorn. The rock pokemon bellowed and bashed into Crystal, using Horn Attack.
Crystal cried out in pain, and with and order from Harvey, she used Water Gun once more on the Rhyhorn. The rhyhorn bellowed in pain as the water seeped into it's skin and weakened it. Lapras then began to hum a tune, in attempt to lull the Rhyhorn to sleep. She failed, for she was too busy avoiding yet another thunder attack, which has partially hit her and did massive damage, she was on the verge of consciousnesses now. The attack was followed by another Horn attack that hit her square in the chest. She screed once more and blasted another water gun in it's face as it charged towards her again. The rhyhorn bellowed as it fell over, making a trail in the ground and the friction stopped it's movement. The trainer cursed and returned is pokemon, "You got lucky! If rhyhorn's aim hadn't been so bad that lapras would've been toast!" With that, he left.
The rattata wasn't looking too good, Harvey decided the best way to transport it would be to capture it. He knelt down and put it on the ground, "I'm going to try and get you in a pokeball, okay?" he asked the rattata. The rattata nodded weakly, understanding. Harvey took out one of his spare pokeballs and tossed it at the rattata.

The pokeball sucked in the rattata, Harvey promised that he would let it go again once he got it healed. He decided that it was time to go straight to Steeli City, Red Wood was probably still on the alert for him so Steeli City would be his best bet. He continued forward, and walked onward. He walked, and walked, and walked. The buildings grew bigger and bigger until they loomed over him and he was nearly out of the route. He smiled in relief and took a step forward.
That was when an enraged rattata jumped in his way, the rattata smelled the scent of another rattata, and wanted to challenge it. Harvey tried to run away, but the rattata was having none of this running away business, he swallowed and hesitantly sent out Crystal.
Crystal was tired, and low on health. She gave a low and weak hum, "I'm sorry..." he told her before her ordered her to use Ice Shard. The lapras obeyed, firing shards of ice that missed. The rattata had used quick attack to grow near and and bit the lapras's neck, drawing a bit of blood. Crystal screamed in pain and tried to throw off the rattata, but failed. Harvey returned her, she wasn't fit for battle anymore! He couldn't send out the rattata either. So tried to run past the rattata.
The wild rattata tried to block his way and leaped to attack him as he drew near. Harvey swung his arm and knocked the rattata away, fleeing towards the city and bringing a close to his first defeat.

~ Descriptions : Dayum. Although the last rattata was a bit shoved in at the last mark, everything was detailed and one would want to know more of Harvey's past. +1500 Poke and +1 Level.
~ Plot : It was really good! I really like the bits that he remembered about his past that recurred to him, and I hate Anna now it was just. Awesome, bro. +2500 Poke and +1 Level.
